Safari Inn

Safari InnI dont know much about the Safari Inn itself, but Ive always loved those classic American style motels. Ive been lucky enough to stay in a few during my trips to LA over the years, though this one somehow slipped past me. I have driven by the iconic sign a few times though, and staying there one day, just for the experience, is definitely a dream of mine.

I came across something called a "Dingbat House"

This is an Alexander Home

this entrance marks the start of memories they’ll carry for years

Named in tribute to the aerospace industry

You could stroll up to any soundstage and spot four of your favourite films on the plaques outside

” Can’t say I fully get it

I’d only made a few prints

While there’s a new location down the road

I actually had the honour of visiting the John Sowden House in person after being commissioned by the couple who live there
