In-N-Out Van NuysThis is one of the few In N Outs I havent actually been to yet, but Ill never miss an opportunity to draw one of these buildings. Theyre the ultimate escape for me, so unapologetically Californian. I had this hot pink colour palette in mind long before I started the drawing and knew it would work perfectly with that iconic arrow logo. It was also fun adding all the little details, including the tiny burger and fries blink and youll miss them.

my one and only trip to this theatre was at night

I actually had the honour of visiting the John Sowden House in person after being commissioned by the couple who live there

I’ve never actually been inside the Aero Theatre

I put extra effort into making every written detail of this illustration as accurate as possible

including myself
