Reta Rug

Reta RugReta is a simple cotton rug of unbroken horizontal weaves, row after row of alternating warm sandy and cool grey threads running the full width of the rug without interruption or incident, with no motif, nor complications, only the rhythm of the weave pattern, repeated until the desired size is reached. Up close the weave is dense and tactile, the two tones interlocking in a tight flat structure that holds its shape and its warmth in equal measure.
